Hello, I’m Val Taylor.  Actually, Valarie Taylor, that is Valarie E. Taylor or ImValTaylor  but you can call me Val. The  purpose of this part of the page is to test my new found SEO (Search Engine Optimization) skills. I want to see if I can rank for the first page of Google which currently has as of this writing 14 million Val Taylor’s.  My name was already taken as a domain so I adopted the title ImValTaylor.

I recently won a SEO Mastermind 8 week training course and one of the first things I learned was to be sure to optimize your website and rank for your name. You want to do this because as your online presence increases and your brand (your name) become more popular, you want to make sure that you are in control of your name.

So let’s see if this test works. This will be posted on my blog and submitted to article directories and when you do a search for Val Taylor or Valarie Taylor or Valarie E. Taylor or Imvaltaylor, we will see if I show up on the first page. Now, let me introduce myself.

I am the mother of three sons and wife of one husband :) .  I am also a 30 year retiree from AT&T (actually laid off). I love living and living well. I truly care about other people. I am also a fantastic cook, OK public speaker and I’m pretty good at online branding.  My job background is in sales, network design and implementation. I have discovered the power of marketing online and I would like to change the world by showing others how to do so using various strategies.

My current layoff situation and the economy forced me to take a look at how businesses view employees. There was a time when you worked for a company for 30 years you were provided with a good pension and benefits to support you through retirement. I don’t want to complain about my former employer; in fact I believe I was one of the blessed ones that got the pink slip.

However, what I know is that corporations have used the economy as an excuse to rid themselves of the older employees. It actually happens every 15-20 years or so and you have to come to terms with the business rationale behind it.  This made me reflect on those for instance, in the auto industry or those who were scammed out of their retirement by large corporations and how they cope with their situation.

I was already marketing a direct sales business part time while I was employed and when I got laid off I decided to turn to the internet for help to do so more aggressively. I not only found the help I needed, I believe I have been provided with some of the best online marketing training in the world.

I decided to help others in the Home Business and MLM Industry through this new worldwide marketplace. Those interested in providing a comfortable lifestyle for their families by taking control of their own financial situation.  Also those, who may have challenges with their current marketing strategies, and others, who want to use both offline and Online marketing techniques to grow their business. My goal is to teach as many as I can reach the Power of Marketing online.

So let’s change the world! For all those who have been laid off and downsized out of a job, or just need extra income let me show you the Power of Marketing You Inc. I’m Val Taylor and I am connecting the online dots!
