They have just created the marketing event of the century and it will most likely be larger than the super bowl. Now you might ask how this story affects my online business and marketing efforts. Here’s how:
If you take note of this situation you will learn that YOU must always be in control even when you don’t have it. Control your brand, your name, your business and you overpower the noise out there. The noise is still there but the Brand is louder.
You can always come back. You’ll try Pay Per Click marketing and lose your shirt. You’ll get caught up in article marketing and get frustrated with the length of time it takes to convert. You can even spin your wheels by performing multiple marketing strategies and master none. Regardless of how bad you fail online you can always come back. Just keep coming back.
If you give your customers what they want no matter what it cost they will buy. Are we starving for golf from Tiger? Some are and some could care less but the marketing lesson here is that if we are we can get it. In a few weeks we will be willing to pay the price of admissions.
