Hundreds of thousands of people are coming online to learn how to make money. Many are in debt, have lost their jobs and are looking to the internet for an answer. The internet is the right place to come but there is a specific business model you need to follow to give yourself any chance of making money online.

It has become evident that the recession is not on the internet but most don’t have the road map to create the extra income needed in their household. Although there are many ways to make money online, this article does not encompass all of them. However, these are the four most popular business models for new internet marketers.

Only two of the four business models are recommended here and I believe gives you the best chance at success if you are new to internet marketing.

The four most popular business models are:

1.  Sell your own product online

This one is the most difficult because you have to master so many skills like website creation, market research,           branding, sales copy, and follow up strategies, traffic generation, conversions and more. This model is not   recommended if you are new to the internet

2. EBay, Online Auction sites and Drop shipping

Here you would create an account on an auction site like EBay and you source a popular product through a drop shipping company and list it on auction sites. Take a course on this strategy as it is not as easy as many would have you believe. Some however, have found success doing so but it is not a recommended strategy for a newbie.

3. Affiliate Marketing

Marketing others products and services. Thousands of companies offer affiliate products and services. Affiliate marketing set up is easy where you are given a link to promote and don’t even need a website. This is the part of affiliate marketing that can be tough.

It is recommended that you belong marketing system where websites are provided and a sales funnel to market your affiliate products or service. Affiliate marketing is one of the best strategies for someone new coming to the internet but there is a right and wrong way of doing affiliate marketing.

4. Network Marketing/Direct Sales

Network marketing on the internet but not using the old traditional methods of chasing family friends and everyone else you know.

Network marketing provides leverage that you need to be profitable and gives you access to billions on the internet. This allows you to create true wealth and time freedom.

This strategy requires only a small investment and combined with affiliate marketing in a streamline sales funnel can produce some profitable results for your business. Network marketing on the internet allows you to maximize the efforts of your time and money.

When trying to make money online do your research and don’t just jump into what’s popular. If you do you may find yourself losing money fast. Remember, you need a streamline sales funnel that takes the best of affiliate marketing and network marketing combined.

Annoying Emails that Consume Your Marketing Efforts

As an online marketer one of the first things you will need to come to terms with is that you will receive a lot of emails from other marketers. Most people get overwhelmed by this and throw in the towel to the concept of online marketing. However, I challenge you to not give up as easily because there is pure gold in many of those annoying emails.

Something to remember about internet marketing is that you as the marketer must reach your entire audience through written language. You must be able to sell through the written word. This can be called becoming an Ad man or woman but you must master the skill of penetrating your market through emotions in words.

The annoying emails you receive on a regular basis from other marketers can assist you in your marketing campaigns. Take those emails and study them as homework to improve your copywriting skills. Take note of the emails that move you to action because that’s where your hidden fortune lies.

Once you have studied them, create your own message based upon your homework of others. Please don’t plagiarize (bad for business) but use the model and rework and rewrite to penetrate your audience. Here’s an example:

You’ve just sent an email in your marketing campaign to your prospects that reads in part like this:

Subject: I Can Show You how to Make Money Online Easy,

Hello Val,

How would you like to make some money online using easy strategies? Using social media is a way to make money online easy.

Instead you receive an email from another marketer, a top producer and in part it says the following (This is one in my marketing funnel):

Subject:  You’ve just made a commission!

Val, Can you imagine getting dozens of emails with that SUBJECT LINE in your inbox every week…

YOU CAN… IF… you use the strategies and marketing system that we’ve created for you.

The difference is that one reads like a “Did you know” and the other almost forces you to open and take action. This is the power of copywriting skills and it’s what the top producers use to earn six and seven figures online.

Begin to treat the emails you receive from the top earners as if they were a gift of gold. File them away in a folder and model your messages in a similar fashion. Remember don’t copy but use them as copywriting homework for your business. Master email marketing techniques today using a proven marketing system which will explode your business.

The internet revolution may be the biggest thing since the oil well. The difference between that discovery and this one is if you were not wealthy you could not compete to secure your financial future.  The top business owners of that day were men and women were generally at home caring for the family.
